We have lot to learn from dogs
In the beginning there was a dog, the rat terrier Lolabelle. Then a French television channel asked the dog’s owner, the world-famous Laurie Anderson, to make a film about her - the first in her life, previously filled with music, books, painting, performances, but not cinema. Shortly after this, Lolabelle died, and the film Anderson took on turned out to be a feature-length film, not for television, but for the wide screen. It was called “Heart of a Dog” and was included in the competition at the Venice Festival.
Dogs have a good memory, remembering, for example, who they met before, as well as where their food and treats are stored, and which street they can take to get home. However, they use this information only when they really need it. After all, whether eating food from a bowl or running after a ball, our four-legged friends live in the present. Past events are left behind and there is nothing you can do about it. The future is unknown to us. Therefore, the only thing we can enjoy and influence is the present

Can you imagine a terrier who wants to be a boxer, or a poodle who is jealous of a collie's coat, or a pug who wants to have a nose like a greyhound? Of course, the answer will be negative. But we spend a lot of time trying to do everything to fit certain concepts of beauty and perfection, instead of loving the unique features of our appearance. It would be so boring if all dogs or all people looked the same!
